This page is about the construction of the trailer and how it was all put together via the different ideas which we came up with as a group. It shows 2 different videos, the first being about the actual footage and how we cut it and used transitions to make it more interesting to keep the audiences attention and the other video is all about the audio in the trailer. The second video will explain about the sound tracks used in the trailer and also how was altered them and used different ones which we then looped.

As said in the video, i was unable to attend the group session when we recorded this because of illness but i contacted them via text and asked my group to to point out some of the things i would have mentioned in the video if i was able to do it. This video is all about the construction of the video so this ranges from the transitions used to go from one clip to another to changing the brightness of the clip so it adds effect to the trailer and also matches the lyrics in the song used.
There are a few things that weren't mentioned in the video which i would like to add now via this text box because i am not able to add it into the video with my voice. Many transitions have been used throughout the trailer make sure each shot is smoothy introduced to the audience and there are jumpy cuts or anything which may interrupt the run of the trailer. Moreover the piece of clip which is shown at 6 minutes shows many small cuts which have been made in time to the music and also they speed up to get the adrenaline going in the audiences body. The last thing i want to mention that wasn't mentioned in the video is that the when the pace of trailer picks up, the cuts become more frequent and straight to the point with less use of transitions which makes the trailer seem more rough and scary.

Again this video was shot on the same day as the other so i was unable to make the recording of this one as well but as before i text the rest of my group so they could say some stuff on my behalf.
This video is all about the audio of our trailer and how it was put together and made to fit the trailer and how it all came together. Unfortunately we lost the most recent version of our trailer due to the computer saving the old one over our most recent, improvements made and mentioned but not shown on the video are ones which are the most recent version but not on this older one being shown.
Some things that haven't been mentioned by my group are a few different parts where to audio changes. The first is at the very start and a transition is used which allows the music on the first production company advert to start from nothing and slowly build up its sound. This is so the noise doesn't just come out of nowhere and sound of place and the transition makes it smoother and makes the trailer seem more professional. Secondly we used about 5 different tracks, first two was on the first 2 adverts at the start of the trailer. The next was a piano cover of the main song we used (Bring Me To Life) which we cut and looped so the drop in the main song didn't come to soon. We also used the piano cover at the start so the voice of the singer didn't distract the audience from watching the trailer and not understanding the story behind the film. The next audio track is the real song but we cut it so it starts half way through the song and drops at the right point so it matches the trailer and when it picks up pace. At the end we had to cut the song to make it shorter and then match it up at the end, in the final version of our trailer, where we put the song to together is a lot smoother than the one shown in the video if you listen to it.
