This is a slideshow of photos that my group and i took at the beginning of our coursework to try and get used to the lighting techniques and the positioning of the actors. It was also an exercise to expand our knowledge of media and get used to how the camera works and how different shots from the camera can portray different things such as; high angle makes the person in the picture have little power. There are 2 slides, the first is showing the very first pictures we took and the second slide shows improved pictures we took after being taught show tips and tricks. First slide shows some very simple pictures, for example one picture doesn't even have anyone in it which is a very poor picture. In the picture on the stairs it is very weird angle because the people are facing forward and there is too much surround the people in the picture. On the other hand the second slide shows a slight improvement to the photos in a few ways. One way in the picture with the reflection is gives off the view to the audience that there could be 2 sides to the person standing on the stairs. In another picture the audience are being allowed to see the setting (of the corridor) and a person just about to walk out of shot, this shows the audience that they are moving possibly to a new location. | Photos slide View more presentations from RyanThurgood |
